We Energies , a subsidiary of WEC Energy Group, is seeking a Fleet Technician (So.-No Grp.#) in our Milwaukee, Wisconsin location. This position is represented by Local 2150. This position is 2nd shift. The hours are 2:30PM-11:00PM Job Responsibilities: The Fleet Technician (So.-No Grp. #) performs the following duties: - Maintains, repairs, and services vehicles and equipment that are essential to other work groups to ensure that they are safe, functional, and available when needed and in accordance with DOT regulations - Performing troubleshooting and diagnosing current or potential vehicle and equipment malfunctions - Temporary or permanent repairs and component rebuilding on trucks, construction, automotive and auxiliary equipment - Preventative maintenance - Miscellaneous duties as required or assigned Minimum Qualifications: - Applicant must have a minimum of two years’ experience as an automotive or truck mechanic within the past four years - Applicant must have a valid driver’s license and meet the company’s requirements for driving - The selected applicant must obtain a commercial driver’s license (CDL) within 90 days of entry into the job - The applicant must comply with...
