About this unit: 3H is a 22 Neuroscience/Spine unit at Blodgett Hospital that specializes in the care of patients admitted with neurological conditions, stroke, and spinal surgeries such as fusions and laminectomies. Employees are often drawn to 3H for the variety of patients while still having a specialty focus. Our employees become competent in caring for a large array of both surgical and medical patients and become experts in the care of patients within our specialties. Specifically, our team is known as being experts in stroke and the care of a wide variety of neurological conditions, managing the care of wounds, drains and post-operative recovery. Additional unique skills that those hired to 3H will learn include utilization of the NIHSS Stroke Scale.
