Job DetailsJob Location: Rutland, VT 05701Position Type: Full TimeSalary Range: $17.00 - $19.78 HourlyJob Shift: 1st ShiftVT Shipping Team Shift 1: 7am - 3pm: Shipping Support, West Rutland: POSITION SUMMARY: Employee Owners on the Shipping team prepare, package, and ship customer orders with focus on safety, quality, and on-time delivery. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: · Stacks reels on pallets and keeps accurate counts. · Operates a stretch wrapper for palletized reels. · Stacks non-palletized reels directly into trailers and keeps accurate counts. · Appropriately marks each shipment with identifying labels. · Keeps work area clean and free of safety hazards. · Secures loads with load locks, straps, and/or nets to ensure drivers’ safety. · May operate a forklift to service the shipping dock area with appropriately sized pallets, moving product to and from the stretch wrapper, and loading trailers for shipment. · Excellent attendance and willing to work overtime as necessary. · Excellent attitude, communication, and teamwork skills. · Other duties as assigned or required. · While performing duties of this job, the employee is required to stack reels by reaching, lifting, turning and/or walk...
