Position Summary Under the direction of Engineer III, the Engineer I will transform long term plans into actionable operation plans, resolving equipment related constraints and collaborating with operations and maintenance to achieve reclamation project deadlines. Supervisor Responsibilities: This position does not have supervisory responsibilities over other employees. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Develop detailed daily, weekly, and monthly project schedules (dig plans, drill and blast plans, haulage plans) that align with the overall mine reclamation contract; are practical and safe to execute. - Prepare and publish short-term dig and push plans to equipment operators for use on machine guidance systems. - Monitor actual equipment productivity against planned targets on a daily and weekly basis, identifying variances and recommending corrective actions. - Perform field survey work with drones and manual survey equipment to measure conformance with final reclamation designs and post-mining topography. - Support preparation of project progress reports, including production metrics, schedule updates, and field observations. - Assist with soil respread quality control act...
