Job Description JOB TITLE : Lab Technician Physical Testing DEPARTMENT: Product Development Quality Systems, Physical Test Lab REPORTS TO : Managers: PD Quality Systems & Site Quality Manager. PD Quality Systems Lead ORGANIZATION : RCTD Product Development Erie 1.0 GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION: This position involves working in a self-directed team environment to provide support to the product test (PT Lab) teams. The primary responsibility of an individual working in this position is to conduct functional performance tests of molded plastic closure systems, and to then summarize and prepare written reports of the test results. The testing is accomplished through the use of mechanical tools and test equipment, as well as, manual manipulation of the closure systems. The test evaluation data is collected and entered into a PC Spreadsheet software is used to organize, analyze, and report the data. 2.0 PRIMARY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: 2.1 Maintains a safe and clean work environment by employing 5s philosophy. 2.1.1 Is trained in all applicable safety policies and procedures. 2.2 Coordinates assignments with other Lab Team members. 2.3 References master list of equipment used and tests perfo...
