Description: The Aflac Cancer and Blood Disorders Center and the Emory University Department of Pediatrics invites interested applicants for a fellowship position in the pediatric Sickle Cell Disease Program. The aim of the Aflac Sickle Cell Disease (SCD) 4th Year Fellowship is to train physicians in the treatment of children and adolescents with SCD. Graduates of the SCD Fellowship will be positioned to participate in and develop SCD programs within pediatric hematology/oncology centers or in private practice. The fellowship will comprise clinical rotations (up to 70%) and up to 30% research, which can be tailored based on fellow's interest.
