Job description

Under direct supervision, performs general service tasks in food production and cafeteria retail space. Performs a variety of tasks including but not limited to providing exceptional customer service, cooking and preparing food, and maintaining a clean and safe workspace - Cooks exact number of items ordered by each customer, working on several different orders simultaneously. - Receives verbal instructions as to food required by customers, and prepare and cook food according to those instructions. - Operates large-volume cooking equipment such as grills, deep fryers, slicers, and/or griddles. - Provides exceptional customer service. - Maintains friendly attitude towards customers, co-workers, and clients. - Espouses Connecticut Children’s core values & behaviors – teamwork, integrity, respect & discovery. - Assists chef supervisors in meal production by following daily production schedule. - Prepares food according to specific recipes and instructions. - Willingness to work as a team player when preparing dishes and coordinating meal service. - Sets up assigned station in work area including but not limited to grill, deli, or hotline. - Maintains safe and clean working environment...
