Overview The Clinical Fellow – SLP will provide direct patient/student care for assessing and treating communication (i.e., speech/language), cognitive, oral motor, and feeding/swallowing disorders. This position will provide speech-language pathology (SLP) services in accordance with departmental, regulatory, and their program-specific function*, maintain documentation related to services offered, and participate in intra- and interdisciplinary training programs. (*e.g., school-based positions: services are implemented as detailed in the Individualized Education Plan (IEP) for each student). This assignment provides initial employment opportunities to coincide with and supplement the Clinical Fellow training experience. Responsibilities: Adhere to all American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA) guidelines for the successful completion of the SLP Clinical Fellowship - Provide comprehensive diagnostic evaluations and intervention programs consistent with contemporary, evidence-based practice in speech-language pathology and departmental quality standards, soliciting and incorporating the needs, interests, and objectives of the patient/student (as appropriate) and family. - C...
