What You Can Expect As a Senior Attorney in Houston, Texas, you report to the General Counsel, ENGIE Energy Marketing NA, Inc., and be responsible for providing legal support to the U.S. wholesale entity of ENGIE’s Supply and Energy Management (SEM) business platform. SEM provides energy supply solutions and risk management services to support its clients through their decarbonization journey, while optimizing ENGIE’s assets and contributing to value creation. This position will be a part of the SEM LEGAL & ETHICS community, a team of approximately 120 lawyers supporting the activities of SEM worldwide. This team acts as key players in project and negotiation teams to support SEM’s business origination and in managing legal and regulatory risks in compliance with applicable laws across the full range of SEM business activities. You will: - Develop and execute comprehensive legal strategies and solutions to lawfully facilitate SEM’s commercial objectives while mitigating associated legal and other risks Draft, review and negotiate: - Master Agreements (NAESB, ISDA and REC agreements, together with relevant annexes) for various commodities and related derivatives (power, gas, emissio...
