The ChristianaCare General Laboratory located on the Newark campus, is currently recruiting for a Full-time Flex Medical Laboratory Scientist/Technician. This position is Evening Shift, 2:30pm - 11:00pm. Every other weekend and two to three holidays per year required. Responsibilities: Requirements: Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology, Medical Laboratory Science, Biochemistry or equivalent BS degree which requires completion of clinical rotations through an approved education program required. Completion of an associate degree in medical laboratory technology - Accurately performs all test procedures as listed in the procedure manual. - Performs and records all scheduled instrument preventative maintenance procedures. - Follows established quality control procedures, documenting corrective action if necessary. - Adheres to all turnaround times, document calls as necessary, verifies critical values and specimen identification. - Verifies completion of all stat results and all routine results...
