Business Intelligence Analyst Department: Data Governance: Employment Type: Contract / Temp: Location: Toronto, ON: Compensation: $70,000 - $75,000 / year Description: The Business Intelligence Lead Analyst is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining reporting, analytics, and data solutions that support GS1 Canada’s strategic objectives and Industry Managed Solutions. Working closely with internal stakeholders, senior leadership, and technical teams, the incumbent gathers requirements, analyzes data workflows, and delivers insights that enable confident, data-informed decision-making. In addition to core Business Intelligence responsibilities, this role provides leadership and mentorship within the BI team by guiding junior analysts, supporting onboarding and knowledge transfer, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. The incumbent plays a key role in leading migration efforts, identifying and implementing new data initiatives, and enhancing operational efficiencies across reporting and analytics functions.
