Envision Imaging seeks a Full-Time X-ray technologist at our Fort Worth, TX location Monday - Thursday 8:00 AM - 6:30 PM| Position Pay Range $27.29 - $35.18 Summary/Objective: Performs various types of diagnostic X-Ray procedures, adjusts X-Ray equipment settings, determines proper voltage and exposure and positions patient. Performs specific procedures utilizing ionizing radiation. Assists physicians in assigned examination utilizing contrast media and/or specific tomographic examinations. Essential Functions: - Interfaces with patient to ascertain medical history and provides instructions and explanation of the procedure and/or exam to obtain the best possible image. - Reviews patient charts for missed clinical information and/or consent. Screens patients for surgical and other implants, contrast allergies, etc. - Obtains prior films/exams as needed and performs high quality scans to submit to the Radiologist for interpretation. - Performs exams while attending to patient’s care before, during and following exam and notifies the appropriate party if patient’s condition changes at any time. - Transfers images to other locations as needed. - Coordinates scan protocols with Radiolog...
