Job DetailsJob Location: Midland, TX 79706Job Summary: The Instrument-Man operates and maintains all survey equipment, works under the direction of the Party Chief, collects and downloads survey data, directs loading and storage of equipment, and ensures compliance with safety standards. This role primarily assists the Party Chief as directed. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Assist the Party Chief as directed Understand procedures and operation of all surveying equipment (Static GPS, RTK GPS, conventional total station, data collectors, levels, pipeline locator, magnetometer) Ensure all equipment is in proper working order Provide daily maintenance and security of equipment Report damaged or defective equipment to the appropriate supervisor Supervise and assist with loading of equipment, boats, off-road vehicles, and/or marsh master Mentor/train Rodmen on proper survey procedures and equipment operation Assist Party Chief with daily operations, including review of project drawings Complete daily status forms prior to departure from office Participate in and conduct JSA and BBS observations Adhere to MPH Safety Policy and Procedures Properly store equipment and monitor job ar...
