Hourly Pay Range: $18.84 - $27.32 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors. Position Highlights: - Position: Patient Care Technician - Orthopedic Unit– Nights - Location: Arlington Heights, IL - Per Diem Level I - Must be able to work at least 48 hours every 6 weeks. 24 of those hours must be on weekend time if needed. - This is a year round position/ seasonal not available. - Must be able to attend a Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday Orientation from about 8:00am-4:30pm on the week of starting. - Hours: Nights 11:00pm -7:30am and 7:00pm-7:30am - Required Travel: No What you will do: - A ssists patients with personal care needs including bathing, grooming, oral care, eating, use of bedpan or urinal, positioning, answering and responding to patient call lights, bed making, etc. under the supervision of a RN/LPN. - Assists with exercising and ambulating patient; utilizes correct body mechanics while assisting with patient mobility; maintains physical safety and comfort of patient under supervision of a RN/LPN. - Obtains patient vital signs, input and output checks, and accu-checks, and reports abnormalities...
