COS Improvement Engineer

Job description

Job Summary The COS Improvement Engineer will apply engineering and Lean Six Sigma knowledge and concepts to identify, scope, and manage projects and activities that will improve process control and overall plant efficiency. The position requires the ability to build strong working relationships and communicate effectively with plant personnel and management to effectively identify and execute the activities. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are also required. Standard work hours Monday – Friday 8am to 5pm with occasional overtime and weekends required. Travel 20% throughout the year. Duties and Responsibilities: - Apply engineering knowledge to the manufacturing processes to identify improvement - Perform root cause analysis to reduce process - Utilize statistical analysis and software tools to evaluate manufacturing - Prepare written justifications for approved capital expenditures (ACEs). - Play a key role in advancing CCM’s lean journey across the - Facilitate events and meetings focused on manufacturing improvements and cost - Track and report project - Coordinate and manage numerous teams and projects to execute and sustain improvement - Identify and prioritize po...
