Job Summary The Evaporator Operator is responsible for processing trap and wastewater product in an effort to reclaim quality product. 2nd Shift Essential Duties/Responsibilities: Nothing in this job description restricts management's right to assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time. - Responsible for communicating with the cooker operator and foreman to produce quality product through the evaporator. - Monitor equipment at start by checking raw material tanks to know percentage of grease to water; make sure system is primed with good grease. - Logs hourly readings; makes adjustments as necessary to equipment. - Responsible for shut down of equipment in correct sequence by following proper procedures - Assures equipment and work area is clean after each shift. - Maintains safety as top priority in accordance with all company safety rules and regulations. Minimum Qualifications: - High School diploma or GED.
