Description The Audio Assistant is responsible for assisting with the smooth functioning of audio operations at the Maltz Performing Arts Center. This includes setting up and running any and all audio needs for rehearsals and live productions, assisting with the day-of audio for all concerts, lectures, and other events at the Maltz Performing Arts Center. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Assist in implementing stage set up and tear down of all audio systems, both live in house amplification and live mixing for streaming and recording. Works closely with the MPAC Production Team to ensure the timely delivery of requisite facilities for multiple back-to-back events. Is able to identify and pursue the most efficient use of resources. Is able to clearly and articulately explain complicated tasks and sequences of events. Can communicate client needs to requisite parties, and ensures functionality of all systems. Can quickly understand and address problems that could hinder operations. (25%) Acts as the audio assistant for all events.
