This position will require some onsite work in Renton/Seattle, WA, Irvine, CA or Portland, OR. The Corporate Counsel position is responsible, under the guidance of Department of Legal Affairs (DLA) Leadership, for providing valued, strategic, and practical legal advice and support for Providence St. Joseph Health (“Providence”) with a primary focus on system-wide contracting initiatives and enterprise commercial agreements, including development of contracting strategies, templates, playbooks, and processes that enable consistent and scalable contracting across the organization. Secondarily, the role supports a defined portfolio of healthcare transactions, including select joint ventures, affiliations, divestitures, and other strategic arrangements, as assigned. KEY POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: Draft, review, negotiate, and advise on system-wide commercial agreements and contracting matters, including development and maintenance of standard templates, negotiation guidance, and playbooks to support consistent contracting across Providence.
