2nd Shift 4pm-12am/ Midnight w/ mandatory OT As a Corn Cooker, you will p repare raw batches of corn to be used in the production of corn-based products. Areas of Responsibilities: DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES: - Prepare batches of corn by filling kettle with water and adding corn and lime - Observe and maintain cooking time - Cook corn and agitate, then transfer to the holding tank - Must be able to lift to 50 pounds WEEKLY RESPONSIBILITES: - Perform Weekly/Weekend cleaning on kettles, tanks, and surrounding areas - Work with cleaning chemicals - Always utilize all required PPE . OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES: - Perform any added duties as assigned by supervision - Attend required training sessions - Work overtime, as required - Follow GHP (Good Housekeeping practices) as well as GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) - Work towards attaining and maintaining GFSI & BRC certifications Required: Preferred: - GENERAL EDUCATION - ABILITY TO FOLLOW VERBAL AND WRITTEN INSTRUCTIONS AND COMMUNICATION - HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA OR G.E.D. - ADVANCED SCHOOLING About Wise: Wise Foods Inc.
