Job description

The stores specialist is responsible for operating the central storeroom at a power plant, which entails designing and participating in customer service projects. Other responsibilities are assigned or requested as necessary. Operates the central storeroom at a power plant. Procures and delivers materials and/or services. Maintains proper accounting practices and documentation (tax accounting, property accounting, inventory accounting, accounts pay) at the central storeroom. Participates in development and implementation of team improvement goals and budget. Designs and participates in customer service projects. Performs additional responsibilities as requested or assigned. Associate's degree in business or related field. (Typically three years of related, progressive work experience would be needed for candidates applying for this position who do not possess an associate's degree.)
