Hourly Pay Range: $19.89 - $28.84 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors. Medical Assistant (MA) - Urogynecology and Female Pelvic Reconstructive Surgery Position Highlights: - Position: Medical Assistant - Location: Skokie, IL - Full Time/Part Time: Full Time - Hours: Monday - Thursday between 7:30 am and 5:30 pm, Friday 7:00 am – 3:30 pm and 1 Saturday a month 7:30am – 12:30pm. - Required Travel: Yes- This position will travel to our Glenview, Mount Prospect or other locations for vacation, vacancies and/or medical leave coverage. This position will also be trained to cross cover Gynecological Pain & MIS. What you will do: - Provide clinical care under the direction of the office Practice Manager and Physicians - Document vital signs, allergies, medications, reason for office visit and take medical histories - Prepare patients for examinations and procedures; perform bladder scans, void trials, catheterizations, assist the physician during procedures - Collect/prepare specimens - Sterilize medical equipment/scopes using High Level Disinfection - Answer phones in admin office - Schedule, reschedule and re...
