Responsibilities & Qualifications RESPONSIBILITIES: The Data Center Engineer - Mid is expected to be able to: - Install, configure, and maintain servers, storage systems, and network devices. - Perform rack and stack, structured cabling (copper/fiber), and equipment integration. - Execute system imaging, patching, upgrades, and hardware replacement. - Troubleshoot infrastructure, connectivity, and hardware failures. - Monitor system health, alerts, and environmental conditions. - Maintain asset accountability and update configuration management systems (CMDB). - Apply cybersecurity controls, including STIG compliance and patch management. - Support incident response, outage coordination, and maintenance activities. - Document configurations, procedures, and changes in accordance with operational standards. - May include shift work, on-call support, and off-hours maintenance. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: - Active TS/SCI + CI Poly clearance - Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline - One or more of the following DoD 8570/8140 certifications: - Security+ CE - CySA+ - ITIL 4 Foundation DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: - CISSP...
