Department Summary Operating as a member of the Biological Sciences Department, the SJSU CLS Training Program is the largest CLS Training Program in the State of California. The Clinical Genetic Molecular Biologist Scientist (CGMBS) Training Program is part of the CLS program, as well. More information can be found here: www.sjsu.edu/cls Brief Description of Duties: - Teach CLS Students Advanced Medical Microbiology, Transfusion, Blood Banking, Hematology, Molecular Biology, Laboratory Management, or Clinical Chemistry and includes 12 separate lectures with associated assignments and exams. - Demonstrate awareness of and address the needs of a student population of great diversity–including age, abilities, cultural background, ethnicity, religion, economic background, primary language, sexual orientation, gender identity, and academic preparation–through inclusive course materials, teaching strategies and advisement. - Faculty shall organize all their classes within the Canvas Learning Management System (LMS). - All classes must be offered and meet as scheduled throughout the entire semester or term, in the mode assigned and listed in the schedule of classes (i.e., asynchronous, sy...
