Furnace Operator - All Shifts Available

Job description

Description Production Operator: · The ideal candidate for this position will be comfortable working with machinery and performing daily maintenance and repairs · Load and unload setups, breakdowns, and operating equipment, able to lift up to 50 lbs. · Perform routine maintenance on equipment · Operate related equipment, such as cranes, forklifts, and power tools when required · Follow written specifications · Maintain accurate logs and monitor equipment to ensure it is producing the proper output · Perform housekeeping duties to ensure a safe and clean workplace · Uses personal protective equipment as required by the job, including but not limited to the wearing of safety vest, gloves, and eye protection Requirements: KNOWLEDGE SKILLS / ABILITIES: · Basic knowledge of mechanical practices and ideas · Experience/knowledge in a manufacturing setting and operating equipment is preferred · Basic understanding of the Heat Treat process, 5S, safety and quality policies and procedures. · Ability to operate a computer. · Basic understanding of how to make a minor mechanical or quality adjustment while they are operating the equipment and the ability to locate resources to help with advanc...
