Designer II

Job description

As a Designer II, you will support the New Product Development (NPD) process for our Power group by designing components, tooling, assemblies and concept models. You will prepare basic layouts and designs. You will also ensure proper use of modeling techniques and design standards and review parts for release based on inspection reports. #LI-LB1 #LI-Hybrid You will do this by: Designing basic components or tooling, assemblies and concept designs Producing basic 3D models, modifies complex 3D models, and details complicated component and assembly drawings Preparing layouts of basic equipment incorporating new designs or design modifications Researching and processes ECNs as needed Redesigning components for functional improvements or cost reductions Coordinating tasks to ensure successful completion of designs Reviewing parts for production based on inspection reports Checking basic models and prints for proper use of modeling techniques and design standards Ensuring the New Product Development process is being followed at all times Performing other duties as assigned: You are the type of person who is/has: Detail-oriented Analytical thinker: Problem-solver: Adaptable: Team-oriented...
