School Psychologist (short-term assignment)

Job description

We are looking for a talented School Psychologist for the school year. This position is a full-time, short term role for September through December of this school year. You will be working with K-8 students. Hourly Rate Range: $50.00-$58.00 per hour Responsibilities would include: - Conduct psychological assessments to evaluate students’ cognitive, academic, and social-emotional needs. - Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and 504 Plans. - Provide individual and group counseling to support student mental health and behavior. - Collaborate with teachers, parents, and special education teams to develop intervention strategies. - Participate in IEP meetings, student evaluations, and crisis intervention as needed. - Maintain confidential records and documentation per Colorado Department of Education (CDE) and IDEA guidelines. - Provide training and consultation for staff on mental health, behavior management, and student wellness.
