Job Description Summary Job Description: Finishing Technician, I Job Description Summary: Perform a variety of tasks in the finishing process of the blade. Roles and Responsibilities: Grinding blade to work instruction specifications. Grind between quality marks and apply gelcoat to designated locations. Matting to give blades a clean finish. Painting and Sanding: Apply tape to edge of blade to avoid overspray of gel coat. Apply auto mask to the shel l of the blade. Apply filler/mud to the lead edge of the blade, then scrape of excess so all voids are filled. Turn the blade utilizing machine . Wear designated personal protective equipment and follow all health and safety guidelines . Maintain 5s standards. Required Qualification s: Ability to lift of carry objects or materials up to 40 lbs. Ability to push/pull heavy objects. Ability to stand for extended periods on concrete floors. Ability to work with hands for an extended period. Ability to operate basic hand tools , power tools, and heavy machinery. Requires usage of respirator.
