Director of Corporate Accounting

Overview: The Director of Corporate Accounting is responsible for coordinating monthly accounting close activities, along with the timely reporting of all financial information. This position reports to the SVP, Accounting & Finance. This is a hybrid role which will be based out of the Corporate Office in Fairfax, VA. Experience: Education : Bachelor’s degree in accounting from a four-year accredited college or university - Directs all monthly closing activities to ensure accurate accounting and financial reporting in compliance with GAAP. - Directs all corporate accounting activities including hotel inter-company billing, accounts receivable, cash application, vendor invoice and expense report processing and payments. - Directs the preparation of multi-company consolidated balance sheet, income and cash flow statements. - Responsible for the design, implementation and effectiveness of the internal control environment.
