Job description

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - Program set up and operate Hurco CNC vertical machines using conversational programming and GIBBS CAM software. - Work effectively in a fast-paced, short-run style production environment with frequent part changes. - Program new jobs while current parts are running to maximize machine utilization and throughput. - Produce precision parts to customer specifications and within acceptable production timeframes. - Follow and execute all written and verbal instructions from documentation, including Shop Travelers, Inspection Sheets, drawings, and work instructions. - Perform and document in-process inspections to ensure product quality. - Communicate promptly with Quality Control or Supervisor, regarding any part issues, non-conformances, or concerns. - Maintain accurate daily records of job activities including quantities, run times, and scrap data in both Shop Travelers and the ERP system. - Perform required preventative maintenance on assigned equipment; monitor machines for abnormal conditions and report issues to maintenance or leadership. - Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in compliance with JBT Machining Safety Policies. - Use appropr...
