Job description
Purpose of the Role Define and execute sourcing strategies by category to ensure availability, competitiveness, and optimal supply conditions for GCC, aligned with the company’s financial, operational, and sustainability goals. The Commodity Manager is responsible for spend analysis, developing and executing negotiation strategies, establishing framework agreements, and managing key supplier relationships, ensuring that economic benefits (savings) and service levels are measurable and sustainable over time. This is a strategic role within the Procurement model, working in close collaboration with the Purchasing Manager, the Planning & Normativity CoE (PYN), and operational and financial areas. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and implement sourcing strategies by category aligned with business goals and corporate Procurement policies. - Analyze total spend (Total Cost of Ownership) and identify opportunities for savings, efficiency, and risk mitigation. - Negotiate contracts, pricing, commercial terms, and supply conditions with strategic and critical suppliers. - Evaluate and qualify suppliers, ensuring competitiveness and compliance with technical, legal, financial, and ESG standar...
