We are seeking a PRN Personal Care Assistant to join our Adult Behavioral Health program in Steelton, PA . Schedule: PRN - Flexible; Pick up shifts as needed. Earn $19.33/hour: Position Details: Our personal care assistants provide for the safety and welfare of all consumers in the Personal Care Home (PCH) setting, supporting their mental health and physical well-being. They carry out direct care responsibilities while participating in and following the treatment planning process. Duties and Responsibilities: - Help develop and implement activities and other special projects designed to strengthen independent and community living skills and socialization/leisure time. - Build on strengths to promote positive growth for the consumer. - Engage consumers in appropriate life skills to develop abilities to live as independently as possible. - Accompany consumers on trips outside the facilities for treatment, medical appointments, or any other appropriate activities.
