Job Description Job Title: Field Service Technician: Working Pattern: Days: Working location: Bristol Filton (with Deployed assignment at RAF Marham, Norfolk) Join us at RAF Marham as a Field Service Technician, supporting the UK’s F 35B Lightning fleet. You’ll work at the cutting edge of defence aviation—embedded with front line units, maintaining 5th generation STOVL propulsion systems, and deploying worldwide, including aboard Queen Elizabeth class carriers. You’ll maintain the Rolls Royce LiftSystem, F 135 600 engine, and propulsion support equipment while operating under Rolls Royce and RAF/RN quality systems. If you’ve completed a Rolls Royce Engineering Apprenticeship (or equivalent) and want a high impact, hands on role, you’ll receive specialist UK and US training plus a structured 12–18 month pathway to full operator and certifier approval.
