Full Time: Days: Nurse Navigator (Oncology) M – F 7a – 3:30 p No Weekends or Holidays: No Call: This position is full-time in Muskogee, but will travel to Tulsa for training and to attend meetings Experience – 3 years related experience required Looking for the following skills: Previous Oncology experience with a deep knowledge of cancer disease processes and treatment regimens Passionate about patient education: Someone who can build and maintain relationships with physician offices/referral sources Compassionate with patients and their families Strong patient advocate - consistently goes above and beyond to get the patient the care they need Understand Oncology modalities and rationales: Understand current NCCN guidelines: Job Summary: The oncology nurse navigator is responsible for coordination of care across the continuum for hematology/oncology patients.
