Description At Thread-Craft we seeking a skilled Manual Lathe Hand to join our team. In this role, you will operate manual and semi-automatic lathes to machine precision metal components in a hands-on manufacturing environment. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong mechanical aptitude who takes pride in quality workmanship. Responsibilities: - Set up and operate manual lathes to machine precision metal parts - Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate production - Use precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, gauges) to verify tight tolerances - Perform in-process and final inspections to ensure parts meet quality standards - Make manual adjustments to tooling, speeds, and feeds to maintain accuracy and efficiency - Troubleshoot machining issues and perform minor machine adjustments as needed - Perform routine preventative maintenance on manual lathe equipment - Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in accordance with shop safety standards - Support additional production tasks as needed What We’re Looking For: - 2+ years of hands-on experience operating manual lathes in a machine shop or...
