Job Title: Buyer Location : Bensenville, Illinois: Qualifications: Responsible for sourcing/purchasing of: - machine parts or related hardware - grinding supplies - glass bead room/work area materials or supplies - all other production-related materials including tools, and safety or general supplies - shipping supplies - Responsible for sourcing/purchasing laser and pressbrake parts or other consumables - Shared responsibility with facilities for ordering building supplies, such as filters, equipment parts, fixture components, etc. - Oversees management of tool repairs, including tracking the current working inventory - Manages part vendor relationships; negotiates contract terms and contracting process; expedites scheduling of parts deliveries and tracks shipping when parts will be available; sources new vendors while maintaining current relationships - Manages supplier relationships, including site visits, product education, trouble shooting to find better products or identifying new tools that would improve product quality - Supports production by trouble shooting issues if machinery is not functioning correctly - Supports the job quoting process with engineers as they identify...
