JOB TITLE: INSTRUCTOR - PHYSICS DEPARTMENT: ARTS, SCIENCES, AND BUSINESS SALARY RANGE: BASED ON EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE FLSA: EXEMPT IMMEDIATE SUPERVISOR: Physical Science Department Chair SCHEDULE DETAILS: Full-time/9 month position/PSRS: Position Summary: The Instructor is responsible for the instruction and management of assigned classes. This position remains current in their discipline and engages in department and college-wide committees and assignments. The instructor will be assigned a full-load (15 credit hours) of courses each semester. This position will be required to teach coursework specifically for PHY 105 Introduction to Physics. This position is allowed to teach two classes for overload per semester. Over two classes for overload is rare and requires approval of Dean and Provost.
