Department: 09386 AMG Corporate - Clinical Services: System Neuro Status: Full time Benefits Eligible: Yes Hou rs Per Week: 40 Schedule Details/Additional Information: Full-time, 3rd shift 11pm - 7:30am with rotating holiday coverage. Training will cycle through 1st and 3rd shift. Pay Range: $28.55 - $42.85 Major Responsibilities: - Performs and maintains competency in electroencephalograms, portable inpatient EEG's, ambulatory EEG monitoring, EEG monitoring during intracarotid Sodium Amytal procedures (WADAS), Epilepsy Monitoring Units (EMUs) and Evoke Potentials by applying suitable electrodes on predetermined positions on the patient's head, checking the performance of the electrodes, calibrating and adjusting the test apparatus and selecting both predetermined and special electrode combinations dependent on the individual case under study. - Performs procedures according to the laboratory standards and implements alternative methods and/or adjusts controls to obtain optimal recordings. This may include appropriate control setting changes on the equipment, use of extra electrodes, extra montages and use of activation procedures. Proficiently operates neurodiagnostic equipment. -...
