Drive Shop Technician - Permian

Job description

Key Responsibilities: - Assist with the inspection, cleaning, handling, and preparation of Variable Speed Drives and related components. - Support basic shop testing activities under supervision. - Help document equipment condition, repair status, test results, and parts requirements. - Assist with organizing VSD parts, tools, test equipment, and shop materials. - Support parameter backup, labeling, tagging, and recordkeeping activities. - Prepare drives and components for repair, replacement, shipping, or storage. - Follow established shop procedures, safety requirements, and quality standards. - Assist senior technicians with troubleshooting and repair activities as directed. - Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area. - Participate in training to build knowledge of VSDs, electrical safety, motors, controls, and shop processes. Required Qualifications: - High school diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred. - Interest in electrical, mechanical, industrial, or technical work. - Ability to follow instructions, procedures, and safety requirements. - Basic computer skills for documentation and recordkeeping. - Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn. - Ability to work...
