Labcorp is seeking an onsite Genetic Counselor to join our team to support a busy Maternal Fetal Medicine Practice in Los Angeles, CA. Work Schedule : Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm Job Responsibilities: - Provide onsite prenatal genetic counseling services for MFM practice in Los Angeles, CA - Have the opportunity to provide direct patient care for a wide variety of complex indications from an extensive referral base - Be able to engage in professional growth opportunities including writing abstracts and publications, physician education and other projects - Have access to the expertise of a nation-wide organization of medical geneticists, biochemical and molecular geneticists, and over 100 counseling colleagues - Enjoy benefits including a competitive compensation package, CEU educational support and reimbursement for genetic counseling certification - Participate in educational and research initiatives within Labcorp Minimum Qualifications: - Masters degree in Human Genetics or Genetic Counseling - American Board of Genetic Counseling (ABGC) certification or Active Candidate Status for ABGC Preferred Qualifications: - 2 years or more experience as a certified Genetic Counselor - 1 y...
