Title: Associate Instructor of Welding Technology Institution: Department: Instruction Campus Location: TCAT Crump: Job Summary: The Tennessee College of Applied Technology Crump is accepting applications for a full-time position for the Welding Program at the Hardin County Jail Facility. Job Duties: - 100% - This position is responsible for providing individualized classroom and lab instruction in all phases of the Evening Welding Technology Program including gas metal arc, tungsten inert gas, shielded metal arc, oxyacetylene fusion, inner shield welding, flux core welding, flame cutting, brazing and soldering. The instructor must monitor, grade, and evaluate individual students’ progress, maintain student records in the college’s student records management software, maintain appropriate documentation, and submit timely reports. The instructor must also maintain good public relations with business and industry. This position will also supervise and follow-up on students participating in cooperative education.
