Day - 08 Hour (United States of America) The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) on the Inpatient Addiction Medicine Consult Team plays a critical role in delivering high-quality, evidence-based care to hospitalized patients with substance use disorders. This position requires advanced clinical expertise in addiction medicine, strong skills in assessment and management of withdrawal and co-occurring conditions, and the ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary hospital team. Responsibilities: 1. Inpatient Addiction Medicine Evaluation: Conduct comprehensive assessments of hospitalized patients with suspected or confirmed substance use disorders, including evaluation of withdrawal risk, substance use history, psychiatric and medical comorbidities, and readiness for treatment. 2.
