SUMMARY: The Electrical/Mechanical Designer maintains the part numbering system, creates and revises drawings per engineers’ requests, builds bill of materials, routers and assists with the layout of new or modified products. COMPENSATION RANGE: $85,000 - $105,000 annually. QUALIFICATIONS: - Use AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Cadence, ORCAD and other utilities to create and revise electrical/mechanical product drawings from engineering change notices to keep track of product revisions; perform product layout activities using software tools to verify if parts will fit together or to help the engineer visualize their design; and create illustrations of assembly methods used in manufacturing. - Assign part numbers for documentation from final products and purchased parts, and to inspection techniques and travel tickets. - Maintain up-to-date computer information on engineering designs and processes. - Directly involved with design engineering performing p...
