The City is no longer using ESS to accept applications. *Current City Employees please include your ERN on your cover letter and resume. - Under the general direction of borough management, with latitude for initiative and judgment, perform work in the planning, implementation, coordination, monitoring and evaluation of efforts to improve playground equipment conditions in NYC Parks’ playgrounds. - Work with the Supervisor of Mechanics to ensure that workers have the proper tools and parts, and that play equipment work is being performed and completed according to standard protocols. - Coordinate with purchasing and shops staff to maintain an inventory of play equipment parts and supplies. - Maintain electronic documentation of playground and play equipment care in formats prescribed, including but not limited to Asset Management Park System (AMPS) work orders, manufacturer interactions, warranty records and staff trainings. - Receive AMPS work requests from field staff, evaluate and prioritize these requests and work with the S...
