WHAT YOU WILL DO: The Quality Improvement Specialist is an exempt position responsible for monitoring and evaluating programs and services; establishing and implementing internal control systems to monitor compliance; and ensuring performance and efficiency. - Conduct quality program reviews. - Prepare monitoring reports. - Assist and support programs to identify areas of needed improvement and best practices. - Ensure Corrective Action Plans, external and internal, are developed and submitted; monitor the process to ensure completion of the corrective action plan. - Review all significant incidents and recommend corrective actions. - Monitor compliance with accreditation, standards, and regulations that are required by the agency and assigned programs. - Assist the Director in funder-related activities, including audits and meetings. - Other duties as assigned. - Perform all other duties as assigned.
