PRIMARY DETAIL: - Salary Package: Lecturer (Level B): $123,435 (step 1) to $146,044 (step 6) plus 17% employer's superannuation and annual leave loading - Appointment Type: Full-time, continuing (part-time considered for the right candidate) - Location: Macquarie University, Wallumattagal Campus (North Ryde) THE ROLE: Macquarie School of Education is looking to appoint a Lecturer in Primary Curriculum and Pedagogy Education to contribute to the development, leadership and delivery of initial teacher education. The focus of the role will be on English and/or Science and the national core content areas: the brain and learning; effective pedagogical practice; behaviour management; and/or responsive teaching. The role is Teaching and Leadership focused – the successful applicant will contribute to pedagogy, curriculum and learning resource development; undertake teaching and assessment; and engage in leadership and scholarship related to teacher education.
