Job description

ReconCraft is seeking a Fabricator to be responsible for all manners of fabrication to manufacture new vessels and related components. Duties include preparing, assembling, and welding all components to create a final assembly or sub-assembly based on specifications and/or drawings. Qualifications: - Operate welding equipment using appropriate GMAW and GTAW techniques to weld aluminum and steel sheet, plate, and extrusion in all positions - Prepare weldments using tools such as saws, routers, grinders, pneumatic cutting tools, wire brushes and various hand tools of the trade - Basic interpretation of blueprints, drawings, weld symbols and schedules to lay out patterns on material - Perform welding in the fabrication phase of construction, including the pre-fabrication of sub-assemblies such as bulkheads, girders, decks, and cabins using jigs and fixtures - Secure small parts for assembly and welding - Perform operation of overhead cranes, forklifts, man lifts, and other fabrication equipment - Maintain a professional, neat, and secure fabrication area Education: - High school graduate or GED Required Knowledge/Experience: - Valid driver’s license - Aluminum welding and fabrication...
