DJJ is currently hiring a Human Rights Coordinator . This position will support the agency’s efforts through constant monitoring of conditions of confinement in the agency’s correctional centers, including compliance with the resident discipline and grievance process; attending Resident Advisory Council meetings; tracking and maintaining issues related to behaviors and facility violations with the database; monitoring the Ombudsman Reporting Line; monitoring implementation of agency procedures and initiatives as needed.
