Senior Quality Engineer (AS9100, ISO 9001, IPC-A-610, J-STD-001)

FlexStaff is seeking a seasoned Quality Engineer with strong working knowledge of AS9100, ISO 9001, IPC-A-610, J-STD-001 systems , to work for one of our clients, an electronics manufacturer, located in Melville, NY. This is a permanent, full-time job. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree Engineering. Graduate degree preferred. Minimum 7+ years in aerospace quality engineering. Strong knowledge of AS9100, ISO 9001, IPC-A-610, J-STD-001. Proficiency in quality tools (FMEA, SPC, PPAP, MSA). ASQ CQE certification preferred; Six Sigma Green/Black Belt a plus. Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident. RESPONSIBILITIES: Maintain and continuously improve the Quality Management System (QMS) in alignment with AS9100 and ISO 9001. Perform supplier source inspections on final articles. Conduct internal audits, produce detailed audit reports, and support customer and regulatory audits. Develop inspection plans, control plans, and quality performance metrics. Ensure electronic assemblies meet IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001 requirements.
