ATI is currently seeking a Peel Polish operator in our Finishing department at the Monroe, NC facility. This position is a critical part of our process as the operator will be running the equipment that processes the round bar material to the customer’s required diameter, out-of-round specifications, as well as surface finish specifications. As a peel polish operator, you will be working from written and/or verbal instructions to set up and operate the peeler. A successful operator should show attention to detail, be quality-oriented, and have good communication skills. Additional Responsibilities: - Control and adjust tools, through speeds, and other machine parameters to maintain specified precision tolerances, surface finish and identities. - Detect and report unusual or improper operations. Refer questionable matters to proper supervision - Keep work area and machine clean - Use hand tool such as micrometers, tape measures, and other types of measuring instruments. - Set up equipment based...
