We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Rugby to assist with the appointment of a Renters Rights Act Project Officer, on a 6-month contract, highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Rate of Pay : £15.58 - £19.74 per hour Summary: The Renters Rights Act Projects Officer will lead and support the mobilisation and implementation of the Councils statutory duties under the Renters Rights Act 2025 . The role focuses on establishing systems, processes, governance structures, and data arrangements for the regulation of the Private Rented Sector (PRS). Responsibilities: - Plan, coordinate and manage projects relating to the implementation of the Renters Rights Act using appropriate project management methodologies. - Develop and maintain project documentation including project plans, risk logs, issue registers, and progress reports. - Design and document PRS enforcement and investigatory workflows, including escalation processes and decision points. - Support the development of compliant regulatory processes including civil penalties, prosecutions and evidential standards. - Lead the development of data capture,...
